Seniors bjj - monday/ tuesday/ Wednesday 7pm
All ages - SAT 10am
Brazillian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling and submission art based off Judo. It is a complex, strategic game of human chess where you have to outsmart and out grapple your opponent to win via a submission.

Adult classes and kids classes are available for students aged 7 years upwards. Our classes include Self Defence details as well as all the other components of Jiu Jitsu.

Class Structure
Classes focus on control, technique and live rolls with each term looking at a different system of focus from passing your opponents guard to setting up techniques to defence strategies and positions. This builds and creates a clear understanding of the art in an easy to navigate pathway.
We cater for beginners so don't be worried about starting if you have no experience as you will pick it up over time and each class looks at basic techniques to advanced ones depending on your level.

Classes are taught in both Gi (kimono uniform) and No Gi (rash vest and shorts) - the mixture of these two disciplines will help create a great all round understanding and skill set of Jiu Jitsu.

Gradings
Our Junior and Teens (Under 16yrs) will be graded each term based on their attendance, application of effort and demonstration of understanding of techniques and live rolling.

Adult gradings are offered in Term 2 and Term 4 each year and promotion is based on understanding of positions, defence, submissions and general improvement and knowledge shown during classes.

Once you become a member, you can access our Grading Syllabus which is available on our Members Only section. This will help you train towards improving your skills and understandings of the art.
